Magical Spell Masters has been in development for a long time now. The initial game idea was pitched by Tim Dodds in June and I joined the team in August. Im happy to say that now in late November 2021, 5 Months after the initial pitch, Magical Spell Masters has finally been completed and been fully released on itch for FREE. To accompany the full release of the game, we also created and released a short trailer for the game on our YouTube channel which you can view below. I was responsible for editing a large portion of the trailer in Davinci resolve and am very happy with how it turned out: All music used in the Magical Spell Masters game, trailer and any other media, was created by Tim Dodds, one of our programmers who has a background in audio. If you would like more information regarding the development of magical spell masters, the team and I recorded a video where we each talk about our roles, challenges faced, and ----. In the last week, after releasing the game, I spent a lot of time editing this video together and I believe it turned out pretty well. It’s not too long and gives you a good overview of each of the disciplines and what each of us worked on: After finishing Magical Spell Masters, I’ve spent a lot of time in the last week working on presenting/advertising the game on different platforms to different people. This includes updating and posting dev logs on the Magical Spell Masters itch.io page, as seen above, as well as editing and uploading videos to YouTube and preparing and presenting the game as part of an industry showcase event at the AIE.
